Sendo FAQ

#1: What are the benefits of Inverter technology?

Air conditioners with Inverter technology incorporated in the compressor, compared to conventional ON-OFF air conditioners, have:

  • Much less power consumption
  • Increased efficiency
  • Lower noise level
  • Lower incidence of malfunctions
  • Longer life

The highest initial investment cost of buying an Air Conditioning Inverter technology is depreciated in approximately 2 years, thanks to approximately 40% energy savings over a corresponding fixed speed air conditioning unit.

#2: What are the criteria for choosing the right air conditioning?

Depending on the season, the thermal comfort of the human body is divided into:

  • Summer: 25-28°C for cooling operation
  • Winter: 20-23°C for heating operation

If, depending on the season, we set the air conditioner to a temperature between the above, we achieve optimum thermal comfort and at the same time lower energy consumption. It is also important that the difference between outdoor and indoor temperatures is maintained between 10-15°C.

#3: What are the categories Energy Class?

The European Union has required all electrical appliances to be marked with the energy class to which they belong. “Energy class” means the indicator that indicates whether or not the device is energy-efficient.

The energy class for air conditioning units is defined by the coefficients SEER (for cooling operation) and SCOP (for heating function).
The power consumption is shown on the energy label that comes with the air conditioner and in the product catalogs. The energy class categories are shown below:

#4: What is the optimal temperature setting of the air conditioner for economical operation?

Depending on the season, the thermal comfort of the human body is divided into:

  • Summer: 25-28°C for cooling operation
  • Winter: 20-23°C for heating operation

If, depending on the season, we set the air conditioner to a temperature between the above, we achieve optimum thermal comfort and at the same time lower energy consumption. It is also important that the difference between outdoor and indoor temperatures is maintained between 10-15°C.

#5: What characteristics of the air-conditioned area determine the required power of the air conditioner?

  • Room orientation
  • Residential insulation
  • Insulation of openings
  • Type of dwelling (apartment, house etc.)
  • Elevation of the area
  • Geographical area of residence
